Meribel

A popular choice amongst the British, Meribel celebrated it’s 80th anniversary in 2018, having retained the pretty, chalet-style architecture and friendly character of the resort. The Meribel valley offers exceptional skiing in its own right, which when combined with the Courchevel and Val Thorens valleys creates arguably the best linked ski area in the world. The legendary skiing is complimented by the first-class facilities, chic bars, Michelin-starred restaurants and infamous aprés ski (Folie Douce and Rond-Point) with live music - making this the perfect destination for groups of all ages.

The Lifts

Lifts open from 2nd December 2023 to 21st April 2024.

Lift dates are subject to snow conditions.

The Skiing

Whether you are a complete beginner wanting to build your confidence on easy green and blue runs or an expert seeking the steepest couloir, Meribel won't disappoint.  With 85% of the Three Valleys slopes above 1,800 metres which in addition to expansive snow making systems ensures a long season running until the end of April.

The Chaudanne is home to four lifts, accessing Meribel, and the extended Three Valleys of Courchevel and Val Thorens. Just a three-minute drive from our chalets.

For ideal family skiing, Courchevel is as perfect as it comes. Acres of greens and blues, plus the Family Park in 1850 is beautifully shaped so everyone can try the kickers, table tops and boarder cross.

A cloudy or white out day? Aim for the tree-lined runs leading down to La Tania.

During school holidays, our top tip is to stick close to home. New chairlifts from the Chaudanne area whisk you away to explore some great runs. Over in Saint Martin de Belleville point your skis towards Jerusalem, one of the longest red runs in the Three Valleys. There are some brilliantly fun, easy access off piste powder fields in this area too - ideal for first time forays or expert carving

There is skiing for all standards throughout the Three Valleys. To make the most of the skiing, we would recommend the 6 day Three Valleys pass to compliment your stay with us. Of course, if you decide to just invest in a Meribel lift pass there is plenty to get your adrenaline pumping – there truly is something for everyone.
