The Experience
All of our service elements are designed for you to make the most of your time in a seamless experience. From wake up drinks to mood food, driver service to cocktails and mocktails, we think that our service delivers the ultimate ski chalet experience. Our team are there to make sure that you enjoy everything that is on offer. Meander through a day with us below…
Wake Up Drinks
A simple addition to your experience and yet, when you’re not making it yourself and it helps ease you into the start of the day, there’s something indulgent about it. Ask for your routine lemon and ginger or espresso or go for a change. Your host will take your order before you leave the table at night, for the next morning. It will be delivered to your door at an agreed time.
The Breakfast
Breakfast, they say it’s the most important meal of the day and here at TG we take that seriously. Whether you’re heading for a day on the slopes, sledging with little ones or spending the day in resort, we’re going to make sure you’re fuelled with nutritious & delicious food.
Our continental spread has something for everyone; freshly baked pastries, breads, cereals & muesli, porridge, yoghurt, home made compote and fresh fruit.
For those of you who prefer something a bit more hearty in the morning we offer a daily hot special that will keep you going well into the afternoon. From classics such as eggs Benedict to family favourite pancakes - everyone will be leaving the table happier and fuelled well for the day ahead.
In need of an extra morning kick? All of our properties are kitted out with a coffee machine to keep you caffeinated throughout the day. Tea lovers, we haven’t forgotten about you either; we have a selection of teas whether it’s for a morning cuppa or an afternoon earl grey.
The Driving Service
Our drivers are here to make sure that you are where you want to be on time and in comfort. Helping you organise your skis, be ready for the slopes and there to deliver you back to your chalet at the end of the day.
They are on hand to drive you into town, drop you out to lunch, pick you up from aprés and bring you back in time for dinner. On evenings where you may dine out locally, they will assist with getting you to your restaurant and bringing you back to the chalets (up to 10.00pm) after your meal.
The Afternoon Tea
What better way to celebrate a day of conquering the slopes than with cake (or cookies or even brownies)? Kick your ski boots off and make your way upstairs where a freshly baked cake awaits; the kettle is on, beers are in the fridge and the hot tub is waiting for you while your chalet team finish their preparations for dinner.
The Cocktails
Now things are starting to get a bit grown up.
The fire is lit and the host mentioned cocktails this morning. In fact, there are beers and house wine in the fridge and you will be offered champagne, gin or vodka & tonics or cocktails. While some stay with bubbles, others can try the cocktail of the day (or mocktail), from negroni to espresso martinis.
The Evening Dining
At TG, our dining experiences are designed to replenish after a day on the slopes and also to bring people together. We have moved away from the traditional ‘3 course dinner’ model and have transitioned into a small plates / tapas menu built around the concept of ‘International Street Food.’ Your meal is finished with a light but interesting & indulgent dessert
Our Executive Chef has worked as a consultant chef at some of the top 10 restaurants throughout the world. Drawing on this experience, the menu has been created using authentic recipes and techniques to create dishes from all over the world that provide a unique dining experience.
We are big fans of quality and we make everything that we can in house; from pasta & bread to ice-cream & sorbets and we work with the best produce from the best possible suppliers.
The Wine Cellar
We collaborate with top wine producers and sommeliers to offer a diverse selection of wines for our guests. Our house wines feature a variety of whites and reds available throughout your holiday. Enjoy wines paired with each dinner course. Each evening before dinner in our flagship properties, guests can enjoy our house champagne. We also stock the delicious Billecarte-Salmon Brut for those special occassions.
For wine enthusiasts, we've partnered with Farr Vinters and Le Verre Gourmand to curate a selection of fine wines available to order. Please contact our concierge team prior to your holiday or you chalet team and they’ll be happy to source and have them ready for your stay.
The Cheese & Port
There is a temptation to say no but the cheese board is a must, on at least one of your nights dining with TGSki (if not all). A selection of local cheeses with accompaniments. The port is also quite delicious (in moderation… you are here to ski after all).
The TG Ski Concierge
We are here to bring your holiday together and ensure that you make the most of your time. The best experiences are immaculately organised, so that the only decisions in your day are the final details… yoga before breakfast, rose or a beer, one more run, hot tub or lie down. In the build up to your stay our UK concierge team will look after you and once in resort your manager will take up the role. Make the most of our experience for the best ski chalet holiday.
