Experienced - During our first winter in 2004, we answered the enquiry phone calls and emails, sent out the confirmations, picked the guests up from the airport (heck if we could fly the planes we would've), poured their welcome glass of fizz, helped them with ski boot fittings, cooked their dinners, made their tea in bed, drove them to the slopes, ski hosted them, booked them restaurants, organised childcare and took them to the pub. It's hard work reading it now, but in retrospect it was a lot of fun for us and with many of those guests from our first winter returning to us each year now we know it's a recipe that works well.
Attentive - Whilst we have moved on to different roles within the business since then, we are really passionate about customer service and delivering a personal and attentive service to all of our guests; from the initial enquiry right through to carrying their luggage and waving them off as they leave.
Thorough - You'll still find us answering the phones and putting together the details of your package, but nowadays we hand over the responsibility to our team in resort, who year on year deliver our product tirelessly and flamboyantly to great acclaim. Each summer and autumn we hand pick our team for the winter season, we are inundated with CV's and applications and spend a great deal of time interviewing the strongest candidates to deliver our product.
Passionate - We ensure that all of our staff are experienced cooks and have a passion for cooking and presenting delicious food that looks as good as it tastes. They have great attention to detail and take pride in their work to ensure that the chalet is clean and homely.
Personal - Above all our team are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, fun-loving and of course love skiing and snowboarding. We want our team to be a part of the guest's experience; they tend to be more mature than some hosts with great life skills, many taking career breaks to fulfil a dream rather than a gap yaar! They'll probably have some funny stories or party trick which they'll be happy to share over a glass of wine after dinner.
Professional - All of our staff are trained thoroughly before the start of the season, they understand our brand and our service, they will care for your group and want to look after everyone. Please talk to them if there is anything that they can help with, as they will aim to please.
